best poems for funerals

Writing eulogy poems usually do not follow a certain rigid format but a few sensible tips would be of great help. A lot of people choose to read passages from the Bible rather than a poem because they think that this is more appropriate.

Maybe you're unsure of your ability to manage your emotions as you share your memories of your loved one. Still others choose to hold a memorial service following the burial in a place special to the deceased. Sometime you find yourself not saying anything at all and that can be even worse than saying the wrong thing.

If your voice starts to crack, take a deep breath and read slower. If the person who passed enjoyed the outdoors, maybe a memorial poem with colorful forest or nature-like imagery would speak to the audience, and properly pay tribute to the lost loved one. If you are a coworker, you can focus on work-related memories and humorous anecdotes.

It is a tribute, do it justice. While overwhelming, it does not need to be confusing.
