funeral verse

Since death is a certain fact that in most cases would cause grief and bereavement to the deceased's family, the existence and creation of eulogies is also certain. As much as you love someone, recalling the details of their life at the time of their death is an overwhelming responsibility.

Memorial service poems can actually put everyone more at ease during a funeral or memorial service. Maybe you're unsure of your ability to manage your emotions as you share your memories of your loved one. Funeral poems for Mom should be about either the type of person she was or what she would say to you right now if you could hear her, that's what made this poem so special for me.

But ensure it is not over whelming because it might upset the bereaving family. This is a great way for those that are able to express their feelings on paper to do so and share those words to help heal the grief experienced by other family members as well. It is, in fact, acceptable to include humorous moments in a eulogy.

Giving a eulogy is an honor. The eulogist has a chance to ease the pain of others by providing them with a picture of the best things about that person, something they can hold on to in the difficult days to follow.
