marietta daily journal obituaries - It's not a time to look forward to

It is essential to work with a reputable funeral home that will compassionately walk you through the process of making final arrangements. Close family members and friends are also asked to speak on the subject, but may not know what to say.

The majority of those who are asked to write a eulogy have a great deal of knowledge about the people they will be honoring. Standing up in front of so many of her friends and family to say the final goodbye's helped me to finally accept that she'd gone, even though it was the hardest thing I'd ever had to do in my life. All you have to do is write and talk from your heart, and let your audience identify with your memories and emotions.

An obituary one can also relate your thoughts, experiences and memories with them. If more than one person is delivering a eulogy, coordinate with them so both approaches are used. A gentle, sincere hug or a shoulder to cry on is what a bereaved person needs to feel to know that he is not alone in his grief.

There are many facets to planning a funeral. Grief is not something we can simply set aside.
