examples of funeral announcement cards - Funeral's 101

Writing a poem for parent's funeral can be near impossible, you've just lost one or both of the most loving people in the world and writing a funeral poem is probably going to be impossible. Losing a family member or close friend can be devastating and can have a lasting effect on all who knew the person who has passed.

Written by someone who is close to you, an obituary becomes an intimate view of what made you memorable to others. Arranging the funeral, including the funeral music, is simply a matter of setting into motion those choices. Following or in some cases, prior to a service is the burial of the deceased.

A Ccrtified funeral celebrant is a person who seeks to meet the needs of families during their time of loss. If you have any doubt about a particular story you'd like to share, get the honest opinion of someone else who is close to the family. Just like when our loved ones are at home with us and spend time in our living room.

Practice delivering your eulogy in front of a mirror or a friend in order that you can see if improvements or additional editing have to be made. Again remember, the service and eulogy is held to honor the deceased and celebrate life.
